Personal Data Protection Notice

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698, we explain below how Terra Gayrimenkul, acting as data controller, processes your personal data. Our aim is to keep that processing lawful, transparent and secure.

1. Data controller

2. Personal data we process
Through this website we process only the following:
- Contact: the email address you enter in the new listing alerts form and the site language you chose.
- Transaction security: the IP address, browser details and requested address held in server access logs.
- Consent record: the date and time you agreed to receive alerts.
3. Purposes of processing
- Sending newly listed properties to the email address you gave us permission to use.
- Answering the requests you send us.
- Keeping the site secure and preventing misuse.
- Meeting our legal obligations.
4. Legal grounds
Your data is processed under article 5/2 of the law on the grounds that processing is necessary for the data controller to meet a legal obligation, and for the legitimate interests of the data controller provided your fundamental rights are not harmed. Email alerts rest solely on the explicit consent you give in the form; you may withdraw that consent at any time.
5. How we collect it
Your personal data is collected electronically: through the alerts form you complete on the site, and automatically through server logs while you browse.
6. Transfers
We do not sell or hand your personal data to third parties for marketing. It may be shared only with competent public authorities where the law requires it, and with the service provider we use to send email, under the necessary technical and administrative safeguards.
7. Retention
Your email address is kept for as long as your alert subscription lasts. If you unsubscribe, your record is deleted, subject to any retention periods required by law. Server access logs are kept for no longer than six months.
8. Data security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Session cookies are encrypted, a content security policy is enforced, and access to the management panel is restricted by role.
9. Your rights (article 11)
You hold the following rights over your personal data:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it.
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose.
- To know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad.
- To request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and deletion or destruction where the conditions are met.
- To request that corrections and deletions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to.
- To object to a result reached against you through automated analysis.
- To claim compensation if you suffer loss through unlawful processing.
10. How to apply
Send requests about your rights, together with information that verifies your identity, to info@terragayrimenkul.com. Requests are answered free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature; where the process carries a cost, the tariff set by the Board may apply.
